Clean Air Cycle

The Clean Air Cycle circulates the air in your home to remove dust, allergens, and other particles. 

This works most efficiently when an air cleaner, such as American Standard® AccuClean™, is installed in your home.  If you do not have an air cleaner installed, the Clean Air Cycle will circulate the air through your standard HVAC filtration.

Clean Air Cycle Modes

• Auto: This mode will operate the fan (indoor blower) and air cleaner (if present) whenever the heating or cooling is running. 
• Quick: This mode will operate air cleaner and run the fan at full speed for 3 hours regardless of whether the heating or cooling is running, and it will operate the rest of the system normally.
• Allergy: This mode will operate air cleaner and run the fan at full speed for 24 hours regardless of whether the heating or cooling is running, and it will operate the rest of the system normally.

 

 

Switching Modes in the Web Portal

1. Log into the American Standard® Home web portal.
2. If you have multiple homes, select the home you want to change.
   
   
3. Select Climate from the menu on the left side of the page.
   
   
4. Identify the thermostat that you would like to change and press Air Cleaner in the lower right corner of the thermostat control window.
   
   
5. Change the mode as desired and press Apply.
   
   

 

 

Switching Modes in the Mobile App

1. If you have multiple homes, select the home you want to change.
   
   
2. Select the thermostat you would like to change from the dashboard.
   
   
3. Select Settings.
   
   
4. Tap Air Cleaner Mode.
   
   
5. Choose the mode you want to enable.
   
   
6. The system will automatically apply the change once you select your desired mode and return to the thermostat settings menu.  You can press the back button to exit.
