The Indoor Temperature or Humidity Displayed on My Thermostat Isn't Correct
The temperature displayed on an American Standard® Gold 824, Platinum 850, or Platinum 1050 thermostat can be adjusted if it displays the incorrect temperature. The displayed humidity can also be recalibrated if needed.
You will need to use a separate temperature or humidity sensor that is known to be accurate in order to verify that the thermostat is reading correctly.
To Calibrate Indoor Temperature or Humidity
- On the thermostat main screen, go to Menu→Settings→Thermostat→Indoor Calibrations.
1. 2. 3. 4. - The Indoor Temp and Humidity settings are used to recalibrate the space temperature or humidity thermostat readings if they are not reading what the actual space temperature or humidity is.
- Use the up/down arrows to adjust the temperature or humidity correction and press apply when finished.
1. 2. - Return to the thermostat main screen and verify that the temperature and humidity are now correct.
