How to Reset User Settings on an 
American Standard® Gold Thermostat

The user settings, such as schedules, WiFi, and enrollment status, may be cleared from the thermostat at any time without affecting the HVAC configuration. This is useful for new homeowners setting up a previously enrolled thermostat, and for troubleshooting currently enrolled systems.

 

★ NOTE ★ The reset process requires physical presence at the thermostat. It cannot be performed remotely.

To Reset User Settings

1. Select the hamburger button (3 horizontal lines on the upper-left side) to open the menu.
   
2. Select Settings.
   

3. Tap Reset. The location of this button depends on your HVAC configuration.

4. A pop-up will appear, advising which settings will be reset.  HVAC configurations will be retained.  Select Reset to proceed.
   
5. The thermostat will reboot automatically.
