Thermostat is Disconnected
American Standard® Link (UX360) Thermostats Only
If power or WiFi goes out at your home, your thermostat will automatically reconnect when the power or WiFi comes back up. However, if power or WiFi is momentarily disrupted (i.e.: when your lights blink during a storm), it may cause the thermostat to disconnect but not reconnect to WiFi. If the thermostat disconnects but does not automatically reconnect to WiFi, it can be manually reconnected.
While the thermostat is disconnected, the HVAC system should continue to run any setpoints or schedules that were previously programmed into it.
NOTE: You will need to be at the location of your thermostat to complete the following steps.
-
Turn Wireless Off and On Again at the Thermostat:
-
-
- On the physical thermostat screen, press Menu.

-
Reboot the Thermostat:
If the thermostat does not connect after cycling the wireless setting, please try rebooting the thermostat. Rebooting the thermostat will not remove any previous settings stored in the thermostat.
