Streaming Video Playback Issues on Apple® iOS® 15.2 Devices
Apple's recent iOS upgrade to version 15.2 on all Apple mobile devices has caused an issue where the American Standard® Home mobile app is unable to display streaming video live from the camera when the camera is set to a resolution of 720p (HD). Our engineers are looking into this problem at this time.
If your live stream doesn't work, i.e., gives an error or shows a black screen, please proceed with the process below.
To View Live Video on Apple Devices Running iOS v15.2
- On your mobile device, log into the American Standard Home mobile app.
- Select the Camera you wish to view from the devices that appear on your dashboard.
- NOTE: If there are no devices on your account other than a single camera, skip to Step 3.
