Why am I being asked to download a new mobile app?
We are simplifying your brand experience by matching the name of your American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning® thermostat and/or system to the name of your app. By downloading the American Standard Home app, all of our communications, updates, and new features will directly relate to your system.
Since American Standard is an expert in HVAC, we will continue to integrate with popular smart home hubs and products while developing features and functionality relating to home comfort, efficiency, and air quality.
Are you changing your app functionality?
Not at all! You will still have every piece of functionality that has made Nexia® great. The only things that are changing are:
- Where you login (now asairhome.com)
- The name of the app you will download and use (American Standard Home)
- The colors and logo on the app (now American Standard blue!)
- The emails you receive will now read American Standard instead of Nexia.
When I download the new app, will my settings still be set up? Or do I need to reconnect everything?
When you download the new mobile application, log in using your previous credentials, select the device you are using, and that’s it! All of your previous settings will be transferred.
For Current Nexia Users Transitioning to the American Standard Home Mobile App
If you are a current Nexia mobile app user, you will be prompted to switch to the new American Standard Home mobile app when you open the Nexia app.

Don't see any prompts in Nexia?
Don't worry! You can still use the American Standard Home mobile app, you'll just need to manually adjust your personal settings after you log in.
- Search the Google Play™ Store (Android users) or the Apple® App Store® (iOS users) for American Standard Home.
- Download and install the American Standard Home app.
- Open the app and log in with your Nexia username and password.
- Select a PIN and enter it twice to access and secure the app.
- Set your desired personal settings, such as Dark Mode, Lefthand Mode, or Biometric Login.
Want to try American Standard Home but haven't used the Nexia mobile app?
You can follow the same process described above and use your mobile device to control your home from anywhere!
Is there any NEW functionality?
We recently launched a place in your thermostat settings to view your dealer information. This will allow you to get quick access to your HVAC dealer if you need any service.
To find the information:
Visit the thermostat dashboard. (tap the tile for your thermostat in the app)
Click on Settings. (bottom right-hand corner of the screen)
If you have a dealer assigned, click on HVAC Service Information.
If you do not have a dealer assigned, click on HVAC Technician Search, enter your zip code, and a list of nearby dealers will appear.

Check it out and give your dealer a call if you need your yearly service check-up.
We will also have a new comfort feature and air quality feature launching soon as well!
What if I have both Trane and American Standard thermostats/systems in my house?
You will be assigned a preferred brand that will display in your web portal and throughout all of your communications. However, you can still log in on either mobile app.
Are my Nexia products still compatible?
Yes! American Standard Home still integrates with Nexia accessories and the hundreds of other compatible products in our ecosystem. You connect a new product the same way you’ve done in the past (via portal or mobile).
Will anything change with my thermostat?
Your thermostat will remain the same, and your mobile app will connect to it just as it always has. If you are installing a new thermostat, you will see a generic smart home button instead of the Nexia logo.
I only use the web portal, not the mobile app. Where can I go to update to the new American Standard web portal?
Visit www.asairhome.com. Make sure you bookmark this and log in here. If you try to log in to Nexia, it will reroute you.
Also, please note: the mobile app has additional functionality that is not included in the web portal if you’d like to use American Standard Home on the go!
